South Marion High School
Geo-Tech provided the full geotechnical scope and construction materials testing for South Marion High School, including deep compaction grout monitoring and threshold inspections.
Project Overview
A high school campus has to stand on ground that is understood before the first footing is poured. Geo-Tech carried South Marion High School from subsurface exploration through construction, combining a karst survey, ground penetrating radar and soil borings with permeability testing for stormwater design. During construction, Geo-Tech monitored deep compaction grouting, ran compaction and concrete testing, and performed threshold inspections on the school's structural work.
